Born in humble roots in Evansville, Matt Luecking made his way to the Wabash Valley many years ago to attend Indiana State University. After graduating from ISU I made my way into full-time radio in the Wabash Valley. It has been 14 years and counting on the radio airwaves. I have had a few twists and turns since my full-time radio career spending my time as a retail manager, and now working as a full-time banker at Terre Haute Savings Bank. I have been very blessed to become deeply immersed in the Wabash Valley. I am a part of the Terre Haute Chamber of commerce with my mobile music disc jockey service Showtime Music.
I love pizza, karaoke, sports (I’m kind of a fanatic), great musical lyrics, attending concerts, intelligent conversations, my family, and people that are passionate about things that mean the most to them in life. The Wabash Valley means the world to me, as I have called this place my 2nd home for many years after growing up in Princeton, IN. I spend my free time being a good uncle to my little niece Kendall Grace, as a member of Terre Haute’s Young Leaders, and as an ambassador for new businesses with the Terre Haute Chamber of Commerce. If I had one wish in this world it would be to host Don’t Forget the Lyrics, American Idol, or to revive Press Your Luck! I guess I have come close being the host of "Wabash Valley Idol" for the past two years.
